I'd love to go but I'm committed to another event this weekend. Please keep me in mind for the next meetup. I'm still learning much of the area so a chance to combine networking and exploring appeals to me.

Hello BP members,

My name is Albert. I moved to Flower Mound from New York last year. The move has been great. The wife and I do enjoy our home. We've made some great friends in the short time we've been here.

I've purchased a few properties in the past but only in the context of being a primary residence. I would sell and upgrade as the market allowed. I did manage to hang on to one property. It didn't appreciate like the others so out of necessity I rented it out and sat on the mortgage. Now I'm glad I did since it provides passive income as well as equity for additional investing.

Currently I'm working on increasing my knowledge. I've been hitting the BP podcasts hard. I'm about a 1/4 of the way through and still going strong. I'm also reading REI, Finance and Management books whenever I get the opportunity. I've joined a local investment group as another means of increasing my knowledge and contacts of the area.

Having a strong technology background I found BiggerPockets during one of my searches and immediately joined. I’ve been lurking in the background for a bit and figured it’s time to come out of the shadows. BiggerPockets has provided me a wealth of information. Thanks to everyone that contributes on the forums. The impact this site has had on me is incredible. I hope one day I can give back as much as I’ve received from all of you.

Now to work on that profile pic ;)
