Hey Bigger Pockets Community,

My name is TJ and I am currently living in Washington, DC! I learned of BP a couple of months ago after attending a local REI Meetup and have since been hooked. I am an engineer by study that works in the defense industry. In my spare time I read, listen and watch everything REI related that I can get my hands on to.

I am interested in working with local investors in the DC/ Baltimore/ Northern Virginia (DMV) region to learn and expand my knowledge.  If you’re ever in need of a cup of coffee or lunch feel free to contact me, I would love to meet up to ask questions and learn about your experiences.  Beyond that I would like to offer myself as a free set of hands for local investors.  I am willing to help with anything from stuffing envelopes to painting walls, anything to get my feet wet.

Currently I am working with a local real estate agent to explore the option of rehabbing an investment property using a 203k FHA loan. Beyond that I am interested in buy and holds and flips.
