No, except they still haven't funded any of my client's projects and it has been over 6 months for everyone's.

I really don't choose to waist my time with this Trust anymore. I gave it more time than it is warranted.

Just a thought for everyone: if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

There are a bunch of other sources that are transparent and willing to provide their name, etc. Just stick with one's you have heard have been funding people.

If you follow this thread, (plus the private IM's and call's I have gotten about this) no one has gotten any funding yet. Some are 2 years back. (Oh, except that one guy who showed up on here for 1 posting to claim he did - and he is in TX -(where George Alexander is) so I don't believe him anyway) he's never posted on here since.

I am done with this topic. Best to you all on this. See you on other forum topics.

Hi Jessica

Thank you so much!

This is great information to read and know, but you have to be careful...

The company we are referring to is Apogee Ventures, LLC, not Apogee Financial, Inc.

Like I mentioned in a previous message, there are a few 'apogee' named companies. There is even an Apogee Ventures, Inc. But that closed out (like my hunch, they switch from an Inc, to an LLC when they defaulted on SEC required filings. But, this could be one of their companies as well (another company name) You never know.

I do know that one of my clients (who submitted to this Trust) just informed me last week that they were screwed out of significant millions by a "Lambert" - but they did not say the first name, only the last.

In the end, this was great information - so thank you for the time. I wouldn't be surprised if this company was associated, but I wouldn't want to say for fact they are one and the same.

Have a super week!

Hi Ken

No. I haven't. Does he say he is a part of the Trust? Where does he say he is from (what state?)

I only know George in TX is the main guy and he is the one who contacts my folks.

The latest update is that the money was in/available, but a certain bank won't release it (it's in the US - but I won't disclose which one) and they are now moving the money to Europe. The money is supposed to be available now this upcoming week.

Not holding my breath for my contacts.

A second response to this:
There IS a legit Apogee Ventures, Inc.
Not an LLC, and Inc.

Big difference - so maybe that is the mix up.

I don't know. I think they got in trouble being an Inc. with government filings, then changed themselves to be an LLC.

Too coincidental that an odd named company is both at different times. It's not like it's "Smith's so and so".

I while back, I looked up the word Apogee to see the meaning - to figure out why it was 'so popular' that 2 people would choose the exact same company name, just filing it differently with their state. (inc vs llc)

Meaning:
A final climactic stage
apogee; culmination

Anyway, more time on this Trust is less time for solid money for my clients.

enjoy your new month!

They aren't giving money to anyone right now - they are saying it's b/c of the 'economy' - that is what they have told my contacts (my contacts aren't relying on them anymore, just seeing what happens)

This was supposed to be separate/void of being affected by any market conditions, economic cylces. This is a generational trust - the oldest around - started with the 3 wealthiest and oldest families in Greece. Private money.

Also, has anyone checked to see if they are current yet in 09 for their filings? (see previous threads) I don't waste my time on this anymore.

I will credit George Alexander though - he apparantly does have conversations with my contacts more frequently now (although, I am not sure what they talk about b/c he hasn't given them any good news or money).

If you choose to get involved with this -be careful. Make sure you have an Exit Strategy in place.

Who is the Corrie B you are referring to that seems to have sooo much knowledge on this? She made one post - basically filled with no info.
A good old " contact me" - private thing. If this company was so legit, she would tell you what she has on this forum, prove us all wrong, me especially, and share with others and do what she could to promote this company, not continue to keep them secret.

Be Careful Sir.
My advise.

Post: alcazar or agility logistics

Hi All

I do some work in Africa and about 5 months ago I was doing some research and came across a company I was very interested in getting in touch with, Alcazar Capital Limited.

They state the following:

"Agility has established Alcazar Capital Limited. The Investment Company and its US$ 300mn Private Equity fund Alcazar Capital Partners 1 (Alcazar) are exclusively focused on investment in regional emerging markets, specifically the Indian sub-continent and the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) regions. The fund is focused on investments in the Infrastructure & related services, Real Estate, Telecoms & Technology and the Oil & Gas sectors. Fund sponsors and investors are represented on the full range of private equity matters. Alcazar is head quartered in Dubai led by a strong management team with proven track record."

The other company/or aligned name is Agility Logistics. I finally got around to trying to get in touch with them in the beginning of this month and neither of the websites are finished construction, but Alcazar's provides a phone, fax, email to get in touch with them on. I left a phone message on Alcazar's v/m, no one called back. I tried emailing them at both email addresses and they got kicked back.

Has anyone heard of them or know if they are reputable and really even in business anymore? I have tried for about a week to find out on my own, but come up empty.

I would like to explore working with them if they are.

Thanks

Abbey :)

Hi Stephanie

Thanks for the welcome :)

PM me and we can discuss Dubai in detail.

Overall, commercial right now due to this 'financial crisis'. If you asked me 7 months ago, would have been both residential and commercial.

All condo's and residentials are on hold - presales have even stopped for some developments.

Thanks for your interest in me/my business.

Happy New Year!
