Don't take this the wrong way.  

Why in the world did you quit your job as a father of two and you're 25 years of age?  Stop worrying about being "financially free" and work!  You have two kids man.  What are you going to do in 7-months when you're dead broke?

The only thing that matters is your savings rate.  Increase that.

I wouldn't consider selling unless they could pay off the mortgage.  

More importantly, did you purchase these inside a Roth IRA (if applicable)?
