I was considering starting off with a duplex all the way up to possibly up to a four plex. I feel the multiple streams of income provide more assurance of covering initial costs and usually have a decent potential for improvement. Also losing 1 tenant would not completely eliminate positive cash flow, only reduce it.

Hi, i am Aaron. I am new to real estate investing.  I am interested in purchasing real estate as rental units.  I would like to consistently move up the market place until I have purchased a large apartment complex,  or multiple smaller multi family units.
