@Aaron Swilley welcome to BP and thanks for the extensive introduction. You have some unique experiences and success! Where are you acquiring your first multi-family? Would love to chat with you more to share our goals and see if there are any opportunities to help each other out.

Hello Eric, it's always nice to meet agents in Denver!

Currently I am looking into a few areas, Littleton, Aurora, Denver, and Colorado Springs as my starting positions; and obviously keep an eye on other areas as well. Most of our real estate holdings are located in the springs currently, and although Denver is on my list, I am not a huge fan of some of their regulations when it comes to being a landlord. You already know Colorado is a "tenant favored" state, so branching into Denver tightens the grips, but not off the table if the deal makes sense.

Although, I am working with a team of agents, I am always up for meeting new realtors and seeing how we can expand our networks to grow. I'd love to learn more about your background and accomplishments throughout your real estate career.

Welcome to BP!

It’s great to see your entrepreneurial drive and passion for real estate! With your diverse background and experience in STRs, transitioning into multifamily investing is a solid next step. Focus on networking with experienced investors, refining your deal analysis skills, and exploring financing options to scale efficiently.

Good luck!

Wale, great advice! I look forward to networking with BP subscribers. I got a good taste of that attending Banquets and Conventions for real estate with LIV Sotheby's IR. I attended Inman Luxury in LV 2023 and even met with Elana Cardone personally when 10x Reality was looking to land a premier spot with a team in the Luxury Markets of Summit County CO. Unfortunately we were looking to do things slightly different and ground breaking at the time, and chose to go a different direction with the team we had.

I have never made it to Huston, other than a Concert at Minute Maid Stadium, but Austin, TX was a networking event that stuck with me! That s for chiming in and looking forward to the journey!

Jason,

Thanks for reaching out and for the warm welcome!

As I continue to gain experience and work toward my goals, I’ll be sure to leverage my team-building skills to establish a strong foundation for success.

I also look forward to tapping into your banking expertise as new opportunities and questions arise. In fact, I'm already thinking about how to refine my understanding of DSCR loans and strategically incorporate these creative financing avenues to close deals and drive growth.

Looking forward to the journey ahead!

All the best

Hello BiggerPockets Community!

My name is Aaron, and I’m excited to be here! I’m based in Denver, CO, and I’d classify myself as a serial entrepreneur with a deep-rooted passion for real estate.

Real estate has been a part of my life since childhood—both of my parents dabbled in it part-time, so I was always surrounded by it. My journey officially began at 16 years old, right after high school, when my father and I sold the house he was going to gift me and my brother to fund our first vacation rental in Cozumel, Mexico. (Ask me more if you’re curious about how that deal came together!)

Professionally, I have a diverse background:
🔧 Automotive Industry – I became a Master Technician and worked with Infiniti of Denver for over 13 years, including two additional years in sales to refine sales systems, processes, and negotiations.
🏁 NASCAR – It was a hard choice, but left Infiniti to elevate my career, taking a position as the Director of Vehicle Graphics for Furniture Row Racing's NASCAR Cup Team and had the honor of winning the 2017 MENCS Championship with the team.
🚗 Operations Management – I spent 10 years working with my best friends as an Operations Manager for his families high-volume auto accessorizing company where I mastered my craft.
🏡 Real Estate – Eventually, I became a licensed realtor and landed a position with a top-producing team at LIV Sotheby’s International Realty in Breckenridge, CO. This allowed me the opportunity to score my first true passive income STR in Keystone, helping to propel my love of rentals and starting to build my future.

Currently, I own Luxury Autowerks, an auto shop in Denver, and I personally self-manage the ski-in/ski-out short-term rental in Keystone, CO while also helping to diversify and expand my families real estate portfolio.

My long-term goal is to own apartment buildings (100+ Doors), and I’m taking my first steps into acquiring our first small multifamily property. I’m here to learn, connect, and gain valuable advice, knowledge, strategy, and support from the BiggerPockets community.

Looking forward to meeting like-minded investors—let’s connect!
