Thanks for the info. It confirms what I thought. With the market this crazy all the skilled contractors (and unskilled!) are booked solid. The deal I was looking at fell through so I am not in immediate need. But am wondering even in this kind of market is it possible to get a contractor out to give a basic assessment of a property? To spot any possible big-ticket items that might not be noticed otherwise. Again, thanks for your response, I read a lot of your comments and always appreciate your insight.
