Do you want a conservative investment or one that you are willing to add some level of risk. Im in Iowa and its one of the most stable conservative places to invest. Low cost to entry compared to Cali for sure. Steady income/ROI. Steady job growth. Stable political environment. But doesnt have the appreciation factor that exists elsewhere. You could invest in your own backyard but most likely wouldnt have much of any cash flow. However Cali markets are still appreciating quite nicely. Yet we are coming due for some sort of market correction. My guess in a couple years or so. What can you stomach?
