Wow! Thanks everyone for great tips and ideas. I just don't know a lot about the details of real estate investing. I guess it's a little intimidating knowing that the competition here in Utah is steep. The tips you all have given have been great. I will have to meetup with other investors. I like the idea of driving for dollars.
@Account Closed, I am currently looking in Spanish Fork Utah. I've recently sold my house and used the profit to pay off student loans and a down payment on my first investment property that I moved into. But I think I will be looking through out Utah county also.

Hello from Utah.

The Utah market has been steadily rising for the last five or so years. I am just starting out in real estate investing, so I feel some what intimidated because many deals are being snatched up fast. There is a lot of new development happening and existing real estate is going up in price. What are some great tips on finding deals in a rising market? Thanks!
