Hey Dave, I'm in the same boat you're in. From what I hear the argument being, some say yes and some say no. Some pick apart the law to find the loopholes. Whether you want to dig deep on the subject and debate it with everyone until you're blue in the face, it's up to you. It's different from state to state though, but as for Florida, this is what it is. As for me, I'm going to go ahead with getting my license, it's only 63 hours of my time and the cost for the course (not including exam fee and everything else) is only about 200. For me it's far cheaper then a fine and a tainted reputation. The way I see it, the laws are becoming more and more strict. People are getting smarter everyday. Whatever "loopholes" can be used today may not be there tomorrow. That's my opinion though.
