I am new to forums but live in OKC.  As someone else stated local laws vary in regards to airbnb.  They can also change quickly.  My parents booked an airbnb a months ago for a trip they are taking this weekend.  A few weeks ago the owner of the property emailed them to cancel the booking due to a new city ordinance that passed banning any bookings shorter than a month.  That property owner now has to figure out a new way to make money on the property.  Just something to keep in mind.  Good Luck!

Hello everyone!

My name is Aaron and I currently work for a large IT company in sales.  I was born and mostly raised in Oklahoma.  I am currently renting a duplex in the Plaza Gatewood area of central OKC.

A friend recommended this website to me last week and so I decided to join and start doing some research into building wealth through real estate investing.  I am mostly interested in owning rental properties for cash flow.  I have only been researching this subject for about a week so I would love any advice that the experienced investors out there might have for a rookie.
