Are you suggesting the Carlton Sheets No Downpayment course for anyone who is getting into REI or people specifically looking to get into rehabbing/flipping?
Thanks

Thanks Wheatie. This make more sense. So would u say the purpose of doing so is to make sure that no one area of the town gets overly populated??
Thanks for the clarification

Depending on your locale, its pretty easy to check local newspaper classifieds, and online sources such as Craigslist which are excellent in many markets. Track the ads to see how long they have been running- if you print them off your computer put them (line listings, and occasional pictures) in a three ring binder for a great reference. If you are new, do some role playing as a renter and go LOOK at some of them! See what the competition is doing.

Beachbum are you saying to get in touch w/different apartment complexes and findinig what the rents are?
Can anyone shed some light on what the vacany rates is?
Thanks

I can use some help here :D
When we say two unrelated adults sharing a house are we bascially talking about having two different leases for one SFH. What if there are only two leases but one bedroom is occupied by two people. Would that be the same sceniro.

If thats the case what about the apartments w/four bedrooms that have four different lease or would that again be a different situation cuz one is SFH and other is apartment.

I am sorry if this is alreayd answered here....im trying to catch on to the concepts here.
Thanks alot

Great question!! I would also like to see what more experience people would say about this.

I have found apartment hunters to be helpful too.

I am wondering for those of you who post theri rentals on Craig list if you get TONS of junk mail. The frist time I post mine on Craiglist I got like average of 3-5 e-mails from people supposedly in Africa and Canada. I wonder if I did something wrong.

I know this is kinda off topic but kaosproperties how many units do you have? cuz this must be really time consuming to video tape everything. Other than that it sounds like a great idea.

I was introduced to the book "The ABC's of making money" by Denis Cauvier,Alan Lysaght when i was a part of Primerica Finanacial Services. It is not talking about REI but talks about personal finance more....which is as important. I found it to be very helpful. I also read the teen version "ABC's of Making Money 4 teens" which is better if you are a slow reader like me. If you havent read it I think its worth it. Let me know what you all think about it. :D
