Unfortunately, this Zubin Engineer person is still running his scam. I just received an email from him last night, offering to fund my clients and their real estate projects. There are so many RED FLAGS in his email to me. It is such a shame that people like this are able to be on LinkedIn without their knowledge. We all have to do our part and help get scammers out of our field. 

I would always RUN, RUN, RUN from anyone claiming the ability to get you a private,  low-interest rate loan and are asking for upfront fees.

Thanks @Karen Margrave for even answering my question in the first place. I am looking to do a O/O purchase with a private lender that has an exit strategy attached to it. It would be a lending investment with a layered ROI for the private lender. I will call some of the people I found on the aaplonline list and see what happens.

I have been trying to find a legitimate private lender to fund an owner occupied REO. However, for the last 2-3 mos, all I have been experiencing are fraudulent scammers. They are asking for money and fees upfront and providing bogus Proof of Funds letters that anyone can pull of the internet. Even the format of all the loan applications are the same. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I would like to form a partnership with real estate investors who are or want to be landlords for properties in Illinois. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I go about finding these type of investors?
