I agree with Cj L. I am originally from Houston, where the Real Estate Investment Club of Houston has a wide variety of experiences. I have not found an investing club in Denver that is anywhere near that. The closest I've come are the Wednesday morning Exchangor meetings at the Denver Board of Realtors. You can go as a guest the first time, you don't have to be a realtor, and they have deals they like to trade, but offer for cash too. There are a lot of these exchangor groups throughout the state, that's a good place to start. Otherwise, it's all about connecting with good people when you can find them. And yes, the courthouse is a good place to start. You'll find a lot of competition there. Remember, Texas is bigger with everything. Denver and Colorado towns are just that--small towns in comparison to what we're used to. Good luck!

Hey y'all! I am amazed I found this site on mashable.com. Originally an investor from Houston, Texas, I transplanted to the beautiful state of Colorado in 2007 and got my Realtor license at that time. I started flipping houses, then moved to wholesaling, rentals, 1031 Exchanges, seller financing, lease options, and now I'm in commercial and residential sales as well. I aim to build a portfolio that will allow me enough passive income to semi-retire. Another of my goals is to continue to learn everything I can about real estate. Finally, I love to help people on their path and hope to provide the best service ever. I look forward to meeting you and interacting with you. Thanks for creating this community!
