@Marc Rice, that's the customary in the Milwaukee area, but as always, fees are negotiable depending on the value of your time and objectives/NOI. I work with with property managers who charges a flat rate of $95/mo + a 1 months' rent for new leasing for qualified renters. The key is to find someone that is responsive, experienced, and interested in working with you. Shop around and work out win-win deals.

Hi Susan, I just listened to podcast episode 447 and the book they talk about is 

  1. by Cameron Herold — Mapping out your vision.  Found it on Amazon but I'm not promoting:)  I'm looking into it to grow my team Residential Renters in SE Wisconsin.  Right now I'm the visionary, the operations, the recruiter, mentor, and I've got to take the next step to turn the vision into a reality.  I've read Gary Keller's book 3 times and took massive notes.  Check out the "Millionaire Real Estate Agent: It's Not about the Money..." if you are interested in growing a real estate business.  I'm interested in other recommendations any one else has to share.
