A real contractor should never ask for money up front from a customer.What are they doing working and living job to job.If your company can't come up with the cash flow to start and finish the job,I won't do business with that contractor
What I do in this instance is offer the them money to vacate the property before I evict them,because in Akron Ohio they make you hire an attorney to evict them,because my property's are in my business name.

I don't see why would it be the land lord obligation to report this because you can't control who an renter let's stay or sleep over at the residence.You can't be there monitoring who comes in or out.It has to be more too this story.

Yeah doesn't make much since,seeing its a multi unit.Thought you could at least live in on unit then after a year lease the other units.
