Driving for Dollars
I was driving around a section of town that I want to invest in and found some properties that appear to be vaccant. I have the addresses and looked up the tax information. What are the best ways to get in touch with the owners? Any advice. Thanks.

No worries at all my friend. Not sure how you'd know unless someone pointed it out to you anyways. It seems as if I forgot to mention the part about waiting to see my profile pop up in a drop down box once you start typing and clicking on it there.
Back to your original question, I do not know of any free services or ways to go about gathering numbers. Depending on the nature of/reason for the call, I do have a few various 'scripts' that I'll use. The main things is gauging potential interest in selling.
Also, since you're only looking for your own residence; if you come across an owner that wants to sell/may have an interest in selling but, for whatever reason, the property doesn't work for you, send it my way and I'd be happy to pay you a very equitable split for any and all leads I convert to cash.
I am actively working with buyers seeking everything from turn key multi-families for buy and hold, to just-about-burnt-to-the-ground single families for value add, and everything in between. So, I have a lot of different ways to convert the leads you pass my way. Just something to keep in the back of your mind as you go through the proccess, though.
