Denver Home Prices Rise Again Year Over Year

The market for Denver homes is seeing more good news this morning. The latest Case-Shiller Report was released today showing the 14th straight month for year over year price gains for the Denver market.

This remains in line with all of the other recent reports we have documented here. Even more importantly, it corresponds with what our clients are experiencing as the search and make offer on Denver homes. Prices have been rising for months and the competition is fierce - especially for homes priced under $300,000.

From The Denver Business Journal:

For the 14th straight month, Denver area home sales prices rose in February from a year earlier, and the rate of increase was slightly higher than the average for 20 large cities, according to the latest S&P/Case-Shiller Home Prices Index, released Tuesday.

Prices were up 9.9 percent in February from the same month of 2012, the biggest year-over-year rise since before the recession, according to data from the closely followed monthly real estate report series from S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC.

The pace of year-over-year price gains in Denver has been picking up speed for several months.

If you are considering buying a home in the next 1-12 months, sooner may be better as far as prices are concerned. Give our team a call at 303-726-1874 to get the process started. there are still good deals available on and , but you need to move quickly and be working wit a team of experts.
