Creating Win-Win-Win Scenario's
If we've ever had the chance to sit down and talk business, one of the first things you hear me talk about is creating "Win-Win-Win" scenarios. It has proven to be the fast track to success and happiness in life. Happiness in the fact that everyone wins when you think of others first, and success follows when you take care of your clients, your investors and the community.
Let me give you an example. In 2007 we started selling properties on land contracts to provide homeownership to those that could not get financing and as a means of expanding our buyer pool. That was a Win-Win scenario and it worked well.
In 2009, we took that win-win to the next level when we started offering the land contract notes that we originated to our investors and Self Directed IRA clients as a means of generating between 12-18% returns year over year. By adding that one additional component to our business process we created Win's for everybody. We created home ownership where there was no lending for (Win). We helped investors generate safe, high return investments (Win). We helped the business grow so we could hire more people, help the community and get properties back on the tax roll. (Several Wins in there)
This example is important because all too often in business we are thinking in terms of winning and losing, but if you want to take your business to the next level, think of how everyone can win, and you will be successful!
