Getting your First Deal Done
I remember spending years reading all the latest real estate investment books, and setting goal after goal to get involved in real estate. It was the holy grail of creating wealth, it was so exciting, but yet so intimidating.
How would I find the right property? How would I find the money to buy it? How would I get it fixed and get a tenant?
I am sure these are just some of the questions running through your mind right now if you have yet to do a deal. I am here to tell you there is help.
When I stumbled upon Biggerpockets.com it was like an oasis. You mean to tell me there are all types of investors, financiers, deal makers, experts and novices in one place? Where was this resource for me years ago when I wanted to get started but was stuck in analysis paralysis?
Therefore, I just want to give this advice to those starting out and wanting to get a deal done. Connect with someone here from your local area. Meet with them, outline an investment plan for yourself and TAKE ACTION TODAY!
Since those daydreaming days years ago, I have been involved in over 500 real estate transactions. I am an example that you can do it. All you have to do is ACT TODAY!

BP has proved to be a great resource for me as well. A great place to learn and network. Contacts and knowledge are a huge help in getting deals done. I'm glad as well that there are so many here willing to share what they have learned.
