The Booming Boise Real Estate Market: A Snapshot [Statistics]

Even before various national news organizations recognized Boise as the fastest growing city in our nation, I had a sense it was coming. My friends over at Boise Regional Realtors have consistently communicated and illustrated the tremendous amount of growth Boise is now receiving national attention for via their monthly market reports

Compared to February of last year, the total number of homes currently available in Ada County is down an incredible 18.8%. Partner this with the fact that there are currently 16.1% MORE homes under contract than there were a year ago and it becomes glaringly clear why it's such a great time for sellers. As a result we've seen the median sales price rise to $297,500 (up an impressive 16.7% from last year).

The shockingly low inventory is a concern, but we’re hearing from some local builders that new construction is booming. The southern and northern areas of Ada County are expected to continue to see an uptick of new construction homes.

Boise is BOOMING (and isn't expected to slow down anytime soon)!
