First Post - Day before the "Big Day"

Tomorrow I officially start as the Acquisition Manager for Hock Homes!  I have been studying real estate investing for some time now, and am VERY anxious to see what my education can do.  I have studied books, listened to podcast (mostly from BiggerPockets, of course), attended local REIA meetings, visiting banks and learning the mortgage process from their end, and even callings a few sellers to see how motivated they were to sell (that was scary stuff!).

All this education has made me very anxious to actually get things started with my real estate career.  That's when I met MeiLani with Hock Homes.  She is a real estate investor in the Triangle Area here in NC.  She is AMAZING at what she does, and truly has so much potential.  It is an honor to be working with her.  She has entrusted me with the marketing/acquisition side of the business (no pressure...).  Last year (2016), they did about 15 flips, and they want to do 25 this year (2017).  It will be my job to make sure leads are continually coming in.  From what I've learned, leads are the life blood of the business, so I have some very important tasks ahead of me.  I'm so ready though!  I hope I do a great job for Hock Homes.
