The Start of Something Great

It's been just about a year since my partner and cousin, Dave, began our journey into real estate. It turned out that we'd been reading all the same information right here at BiggerPockets for quite some time, never knowing the other was interested. 

My girlfriend, Diana, told me one day about how Dave's girlfriend told her that he had been learning about real estate. That's how it all began! We started talking and we realized we had many of the same goals and aspirations, even though basically all of our friends and family thought real estate was either too risky or just didn't make sense to them. 

So we got started. My background in digital marketing allowed us to get a solid website together relatively quickly (Dave's old website was .... interesting). We scraped together as much cash as we could and we started mailing.
