

Should You Invest in Your Current City if You Plan to Move?
One of my good friends, Megan, emailed me this morning with a real estate question. Megan and her fiance currently live in Charleston and are interested in real estate investing. One of their concerns is location, they love Charleston but plan to explore a different city for a couple of years before settling down. They both know Charleston very well and have stable jobs. They have spent the past year fixing up their personal home and know the ups and downs that come with homeownership. But investing is very different.
So, should my friend invest in her current city if she plans to move away in a few years?
