I Quit My Job To Bet On Myself In Realestate

Hopefully this post serves as that extra push you may need to bet on yourself, and dive head first into real estate. Yes I was crazy enough to throw away the comfort of a well paying job with amazing benefits like a free car and gas card to build my own real estate company but, hear me out.

Im sure you have read a article or two warning you not to do this, but here is how and why I did. First off the reason why I took the leap of faith is because I have bigger dreams than to just work for a company the rest of my life who is only going to pay me just enough to keep me comfortable. I believe a company could never pay you what your worth, and with the short time on this earth we should spend it doing the things we want to do. So for me the decision to bet on myself was a no brainier because building a real estate business is one of the things I want to do with my life.

Now lets get into the how. I did not just jump out there without a plan I spent the past year saving enough money so if I were to not make a dime in real estate for a year I would still be able to pay all my bills no sweat. In addition to that while I was working I made sure to do a couple deals to get my feet wet so I wasnt going into this thing blind. I was also fortunate enough to make some great connections, and was also able to get a mentor along the way who has  partnered on my deals so far and shared his knowledge with me.
