Interesting article about a housing trend amongst millennials

Millennials living at home rises to 75 year high

According to this article in the WSJ, over 40% of millennials are choosing to live at home with their parents. This is the highest percentage since just after the great depression. This is an interesting statistic and trend developing among this age group that could have big implications on the real estate market in the future.

My hope is that with the economy seemingly improving, employment rising, and incomes slowly starting to rise, this trend will change in the next 10 years. The 18-34 age bracket is a huge amount of the population that aren't renting or owning, leaving a lot of untapped potential. This is the next generation of major income earning and employment Americans, and we need them participating in housing.

Would love to get other thoughts and opinions on the matter.
