Marketing on Social Media Will Build Your Online Presence

Finding ways to promote your self-storage facility should always be front and center in your mind. You need to constantly be looking for new tenants so that you have as high of an occupancy rate as possible. In addition, you want your marketing to be as focused as possible. You don’t want to just throw something out there and hope that it reaches the people who need storage. You want to throw it out there and know that it is going to be targeting your specific audience.

You don’t need to spend valuable resources advertising to people who are never going to use self-storage. Facebook is a great way to advertise because they know their users. They have tracked everything about them. They know who is talking about self-storage. They know who is currently in the market and in need of self-storage.

Because of this, if you are advertising with Facebook, they can put your ads in front of the people who are talking about self -storage. Running an ad with Facebook is very easy. You simply go to your business Facebook page and click, run an ad. Then they will handle the rest.

However, you should be actively posting on your own Facebook page as well. There are so many things that you can blog about. You can talk about how to pack your belongings for self-storage. You can talk about the best places to find boxes. You can talk about what you can and can’t put in a self-storage unit. The possibilities are endless. However, by having a Facebook page and posting on it frequently, you are more likely to find new business through social media.

Facebook isn’t the only place you should be. The social medial places to be advertising on are constantly changing as the popularity of sites rise and fall. You need to constantly be on the lookout to see if you should still be on Instagram or if Tik Tok is the new way to go. You need to decide if you are going to be on Yelp or if you are just going to let your customers go there to complain. You need to post short ideas on twitter. The social media options are endless.

As you develop your social media presence, Google will start to notice. Then, when people search self-storage near me, you will come up higher in the search. Take the time to focus on your social media presence. If you don’t have the time, or if your managers or employees don’t have the time, then hire someone who does. As always, Happy Investing,
