How to Find Renters for Your Boat and RV Storage Facility!

Everyone knows that you need a sign to attract people to your facility but there are other techniques to getting people to come to your facility. You can reach out on social media; you can go to boat and RV shows; and you can promote your facility joining online communities.

Social Media is a great place to market your facility. There are so many avenues available to reach your potential customers. Google advertising allows you to set a budget and then you can artificially be on the first page of Google. As you become more and more popular, then you will organically get on the first page of Google and then you can reduce your marketing budget for Google.

You can also advertise with Facebook. They will post your ads or put your various posts in front of people who are interested in boats and RVs. This is a lifestyle and Facebook knows who lives this lifestyle. They can put you in front of the right people. Especially the people who are talking about storing.

Going to Boat and RV shows or an Outdoor show are great ways to get exposure. These people are already interested in boats and RVs they just need to know where to store their current toy or the toy they are about to purchase. By attending one of these events, you give them a face not just a name.

There are many ways you can use Facebook to connect with potential customers. One way to join chat groups for RV communities and boat communities. This will allow you to find people who either own those items or want to purchase them. As you give ideas to them on how to take care of their big ticket items, they will become familiar with your name, and this will be a way to advertise with them. They will know and trust you because you have been giving them great advice, where else would they go?

If you don’t have the time to actively be on social media, then hire someone who can be. You can have your property manager on social media when they are not actively helping a renter. The other option is to hire a company that just maintains and promotes your business on social media for a flat fee.

Don’t ignore marketing opportunities. Use them to help you build your business. As always, happy investing.
