The Beginning Nobody Wanted.

How did I end up here?

Sometimes I wonder how many late 20/early 30 year olds ask themselves this question annually. How many others, like myself,  at their cubicles, blank-stared at their computer telling themselves - "this isn't enough."? A million? 10 million? Would I take the over or under on 15 million people? 

I'd like to believe 50% of those people will muster up enough courage to move on to something better. I'd like to believe half of those people will be ambition enough to act beyond their doubts and past their current circumstances. I'd like to believe everyone still has the capacity to reach their dreams at this point in their lives, but I think we all know that just isn't the case.

What a Debbie Downer....

 That was brutal. My bad, sorry to be the Debbie Downer. I'm currently over-hearing a loud party happening down the hallway of my apartment building. It's 10:41pm on Wednesday Night and more than a few of my neighbors have had a little bit too much to drink. I'd love to join the party, guys - but ya know, since you have me up past my bed-time anyways - why not start a blog?

What does that have to do with Real Estate? Nothing, but I'm getting there. Hi - my name is Carreras* and that last sentence is this whole blog in a nut-shell. This is my journey, for everyone and no-one to care about. An ode to the 20+ books I've read since March and a life reborn. No surprise as you look at my track record (see below), this all started with RDPD. I wanted so bad not to say that like every damn BiggerPockets podcast EVER, but its the truth. Now I'm just as obsessed with Real Estate as you are! You'll hear more about how I got here in future posts, but for now I'll just lay my education on the table. By that, I mean - I'm just going to show you my all-important, Book List Spreadsheet. Yes. Yeah. #CoolStoryBro - right? I'm a millennial so some of my references might fall of deaf ears and I'm OK with that. I'm also OK with failing in general cause I know the best winners, double-down as some of the best losers. I want to talk about my F-ups with you if you follow along. I want to discuss our mutual issues and learn from those before me. I want to be a story (heard or unheard) that ends up on a podcast one day. And I will be....BiggerPockets is an amazing tool and this is my appreciation for their contribution to my knowledge in this field.
