Speak the language of an investor

Contain 800x800

When investors KNOW that YOU’RE right for THEM, everything else falls into place.

Think about how much your business would scale if your investors felt at ease trusting you?

The process would run a lot smoother, that’s for sure.

For example, take Lisa, an agent from Michigan I met in the Investor-Friendly Agents FB Group when I asked this simple question:

Contain 800x800

With an immediate reply to the post, she went on about the growing population and increasing rents in West Michigan. She shared employment information, and about the deals she’s finding.

She spoke my language as an investor.

I sent her a personal DM asking if she had any deals and she messaged me back with a 7 unit that had been under-rented.

I had never been to West Michigan though – I needed more info.

She not only sent photos and videos of the property, but literally drove around town and recorded nearby neighborhoods, parks, and the lakefront 5-10 mins away.

2 Facebook threads, 1 phone call, and several photos and videos later, I trusted Lisa enough to make the offer.

It wasn’t until mid-transaction that I realized Lisa was a brand new agent. But I didn’t care.

I trusted her.

Within the span of 4 months, we’ve closed 1 deal and are in the process of writing offers on 2 more.

You don’t have to be an expert to sell. You have to be trustworthy

People buy when the trust is high!

Be responsive, answer all of their questions, send photos and videos of the property above and beyond, and be consistent.

Next thing you know, you’ll be sealing the deal and receiving referral calls.
