Refresh and Renew

Woah. It has been a long time since I've updated this blog, and that's because I've been lazy, forgetful, and have hit a roadblock that I'm working to overcome.

The roadblock has been with regards to my funding. When I had initially set out on the journey into REI, there were several funding options available to me. Two have turned out to be fraudulent, one is a little beyond me (they like seasoned investors with capital already), and the other source of funding wasn't what I expected. On top of some in-law issues, I have been a little derailed in my dedication to REI and the business that I've started.

No matter! The important thing is to keep carrying on. I've clarified the missed expectations with that source of funding and am moving forward in securing the funding I need in order to get my first project. I've been diligently building a potential property list with properties that meet the 65% rule of thumb that is so often described.

I have my entity formed, I have my real estate team, I have my General Contractor, and I have my business team in place. Once the funding is secured and I can show proof of funds, I will then be able to start making offers on some of these tantalizing properties.

I keep envisioning in my head the feel of the check that I'll receive as profit and I know exactly what I'll be doing with that first profit. I'm trying to follow the guidelines of Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich and I'm trying to action out my faith so that it moves forward in securing for me, eventually, the Coin that I want so much of.
