How to Avoid being Sued by your Clients
My article advising real estate agents on "How to Avoid being Sued by your Clients" was recently published with a different title.
"Real Estate Risk Management: Putting Clients’ Interests First":
http://blogs.mckissock.com/real-estate/2016/09/13/real-estate-risk-management-clients-interests/
I explored NAR's Code of Ethics (Articles 1 - 13) including each Article's "Case Interpretations" regarding individual ethics complaints against Realtors.
I also explained the various Fiduciary Duties and Agency Relationships in order to expand on a real estate agent's responsibilities to their clients.
Hopefully, this article provides useful information to avoid being sued by clients or having ethics complaints filed.
