Is Social Networking Growing Up?

I thought it would be nice to have some fun today!

There is all kind of buzz going on right now about Twitter. It is being used by Fox News, CNN, and other major media outlets. There has also been some heavy promotion by The Ellen Show, Diddy, and Jimmy Fallon.

- Is it a great social networking tool?

- Will it be good for you business?

- Can you buy and sell real estate via Twitter?

Well…….I do not know yet. I am Tweeting, but the jury is still out on if this is an addictive time waster, or a productive business tool of the future.

One thing I do know, it sure is fun to TWEET!

Here is a funny video that someone shared with me by Tweet, via YouTube, that I am sharing on BiggerPockets in my blog! (Social Networking in action!)

.........…….Enjoy!

Funny stuff, but is it accurate?

Maybe to a point, but as you can see below, I have a profile on FaceBook, Twitter, BiggerPockets, and Linkedin. I also utilize YouTube as well.

I have seen the most value from BiggerPockets for real estate investment contacts/education, and Linkedin for Corporate connections.

At the end of the day, Social networking is growing up, and I am confident that people in business will be using these types of tools more and more as they keep evolving.

This is the type of technology that business folks will need to embrace, or they might get left behind!

Have a Profitable Day Everyone!

  1. The original message: "I thought it would be nice to have someFUN today!" The original answer: I thought it would be nice to have some FUNDS today!"

  2. Social networking is a must for business professionals and us RE investors. If you are not networking, you are not doing well (in most cases). There will be some huge changes in how advertising and marketing will be done and how connections are made in the near future and social networking sites will be at the forefront of these changes.

  3. That video is pretty cool!

  4. If you're not Social Networking, you're just not cool . . . ok I won't go that far, but it is becoming exceptionally important in the everyday lives of movers and shakers in all fields.
