A Few Problems, a Great Bathroom, and Paying Our Respects.
So the job has been running smooth as silk right? Well today we ran into a few problems.
We now have MOST of the cabinets, but only about 75% of them. I want them all!!!
Remember that CERTIFIED Furnace? Today, it is no longer operational! While this is not a huge deal, I made the decision to do a couple of other things to the house, and this will now throw us just a hair over budget. That makes me breath a little fire!!!!
The Main Bathroom is looking very good. It has a stand-up shower and garden spa bath! We finished up the trim work on the tub, and got the GFI installed.
We had this amazing sink that we wanted to salvage, but the cost of a nice cabinet just did not make sense for this project. So we used a little creativity, our carpenter, and are creating a solid custom that will look fantastic in this bathroom.
The last bit of bad news for the day is that all projects will be on hold until Wednesday. Three members of the codeRed crew had a close friend that passed away, so they will need to go out of town and pay their respects. Our thoughts and prayers are with everybody during this difficult time.
So this was not the best of days, but we will work through it. I have now scheduled completion of this project for next Saturday.
One last thing: Do not forget to SPRING FORWARD tonight for Daylight Savings Time!
Have a profitable day everyone!
