Website Update
The Investor Carrot Website is now indexed by Google and showing up for a few keywords. That being said, and it is still very early, the SERP's (Search Engine Results Page) are still in the 70's to 100's or page 7 to 17! That's Ok though as I usually see new sites show up there long after initial indexing. But these are class sites that have been SEO optimized for all on page techniques. The real killer on-site SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is the scheduled articles that come with the Pro package. These pop in and get posted every week and they are quality content. I just picked the package of articles I wanted and they are scheduled through August. This is so nice that I don't have to feed articles to the site...I'm busy enough doing off site SEO and trying to generate good content for that.
I have been consulting with a few PPC (Pay Per Click) marketing companies who have told me that for PPC, the Investor Carrot sites usually convert higher than others making them ideal for PPC. This is fairly expensive though for the investor market and most recommend a $4k per month budget. Of course, this business has great payoffs for leads that convert to actual deals so it is not a difficult decision to try PPC. I'll give it a shot soon.
I was at one of my local investor club meetings this week and it surprised me that a few people told me about visiting my website. I think they probably Googled my site slogan or business name to even find it though. Some followed links from Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter but one person actually found one my video channel on YouTube and followed that back.
So not too much more than that so far. I don't have leads coming in from the site yet but I don't think anyone could expect that. Ranking a site on the major search engines takes time but I am seeing some impressive indicators. I'm in a very competitive market with thousands of websites competing for keywords and ranking but this is not my first rodeo so tenacity and good SEO is the name of the game. Take a look here...
