Lost My Job... now what?

     Ok. Never been much of a writer. So bare with me. Also didn't think my first blog post would be about loosing my job, but it is. Yesterday was a pretty normal day off. Went to Elkins, took my girlfriend to her doctors appointment, test drove a car, etc. Then when a got home things changed. My neighbor informed me that my boss had stopped by looking for me. So what did I do? Well I called her to see what was up. Long story short " We gotta let You go. Sorry Brandon." Shocking? Not really, this happens to people all the time. It was a little depressing though, Still is today. But am I gonna let it keep me down? Absolutely not!

       So what am I planning to do moving forward? Well first of all, I don't think there is any point in freaking out. I have 15 years of Kitchen experience. Another job will come along in due time. So instead, I think the time would better be spend used on self expansion. I'll get back to this in a minute.

       If Your reading this, and this situation is familiar to you, here's something to think about. Life is cyclical, and changes is inevitable. We all have a choice on how to react to different circumstances that arise in life. So why does loss of a low paying job need to be devastating? It's only devastating if You perceive it as such.

       Ok. Back to what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna ride my bike. I'm going to hang out on bigger pockets more, and learn more. I'm going to fishing more often while I have the time. I'm gonna look for a job, but I'm not gonna be desrate. And finally, I'm going to continue to look for that first deal! 

In closing. We all hit rough patches in life, and we all have good times in life. Neither are permanent. That's just the way life is. I think what separates us is how we perceive the hand were dealt at any particular time. Don't give up! Ever!
