RDPD Team Mentoring Idea
Hi Everyone,
Recently I was looking into the coaching program by Rich Dad Poor Dad, but was put off due to the high price. I spoke with one of their directors on the phone for an hour and a half learning about the program all it's pros and cons the ideas in it, how it works etc. the program Has lots of potential, it really does and it comes with a great support base and network with multiple advisers in many different areas of expertise. Unfortunately it's $8500 for the basic package for a year, I can think of a lot of other uses for that much money especially as a real estate investor...
Then this morning I had an idea, what if a team of 5, 10, or even 20 people got together all wanting to learn about this system and utilize its training and principles. The team could elect one member who has the time and desire to sit through all the training and go through the coaching program to then teach what they had learned to the rest of the group. This would also Guarantee that the one team member in the coaching would have to be very dedicated and take lots of notes as they know they are accountable to a whole team and responsible to disperse the knowledge. The team could set up a pre-determined time frames to meet or have phone/ Skype conferences where they can learn and discuss the coaching instructions and then decide about the actions and how the team can achieve the results quickly and efficiently.
I see tons of potential for personal for all involved to acquire professional coaching and instruction while already having a network of like-minded associates building upon each others skills while multiplying their abilities to reach and achieve their individual and team goals exponentially!
Thoughts please! I would love to get this communities feedback on this idea, and to know if there any here who would be interested in something like this.
And as a final note, no I do not work for Rich Dad Poor Dad nor am I associate with them nor would I get any kickbacks from this. I'm new to real estate investing and looking for ways to learn and grow specially in team settings!
If you got this far thanks for reading my blog post and sharing your thoughts!
Dave

I just signed up for his coaching tonight but it was offered at 3000 for a year. I think it will be great for me I have no experience in real estate but I'm a fast learner and ready for the challenge.why the difference in price?I have read some of the blogs and I'm ready to get a refund.

Leon,
That is an almost unbelievable difference in price I've never heard of anyone getting coaching from them that cheap. You must be quite the negotiator or they're getting desperate!
If you do go through with the coaching I'd enjoy hearing about what they teach you.
