Why B is best: Neighborhood ratings

At KC Metro Homes, we like to operate in B to B- rated neighborhoods. These neighborhoods often allow us to do quality updates. Operating in these neighborhoods allows room for growth. B to B- neighborhoods often draw in long-term and good tenants. Neighborhoods in these ratings have little threat of crime and they allow rent to increase over the years. They have not yet hit their peak; these neighborhoods have nowhere to go but up.

B and B- ratings is the sweet spot that we like to renovate in. It allows us to spruce up the neighborhoods that are right on the cusp of something good. For us, these types of neighborhoods are often in the metropolitan area surrounding Kansas City. The towns we work in are Raytown, Independence, Belton, and Grandview primarily, but we also operate within Kansas City.
