Social marketing is becoming a core piece of marketing in any modern business. From celebrities to national brands to local mom and pop businesses, they all use social marketing. Over the next 20 years postcards, magazines and even TV will be in the same category as telegraphs and fax machines. The millennials will be the ones that will have the wealth in the near future and the baby boomers will pass theirs along. Right now, the baby boomer generation still uses written hard copies and TV in order to receive their information. As that changes, so does the ability to survive and market as a business.
