Real Estate Boot Camps - Hard Money Bankers
Real estate investing has developed a side industry of its own. There was a slew of guru's in the 70's and 80's that release tapes and programs to teach people about real estate investing. They created an entire educational industry that revolved around real estate investing. There isn't anything wrong with educating yourself, but it is strongly advised that you know your goals before going into one of these programs or seminars. If you can't definitively say that you are going in to learn and then come out into the real world to act on what you have learned, you might want to save your money as no matter what is taught, you are just running through the motions and tricking yourself. You would also want to decide if what you are about to learn in the boot camp is fitting to your real estate investing goals. It does not do you any good to go in and learn about every strategy under the sun. Many national guru's like to teach the fanciest ways to do a deal where that is not what is needed to make a lot of money in real estate investing. If you choose to go seminars or boot camps, you will usually find your local market to be the best. The people that normally put on these events locally are actual seasoned investors that are already in your own market. They usually will teach just a few strategies that have worked for them. Do your research and make decisions on how your educate yourself based on your end goals.
