Hard Money Bankers - Being Religious About Habits

You create your own success and that starts with forming habits. Habits are not just something that you do to fill time. In business, habits create a base line or starting point for a sample set. The best way to look at this concept is by looking at your marketing. Your marketing will be able to give you measurable feedback if you have created a habit of doing your advertising. For example - If you set up to send 100 mailers every day to a specific list, you can do so for a month and now have a sample size of 3000 mailers to decide if your marketing is working. You will have a large enough batch of data to determine if you need to adjust adjust your daily habit of marketing or improve on it. If you do not form this marketing habit you are just guessing. If you send a few mailers today, then a few in a week and decide after a month that your 200 random mailers are not working, you will give them up. It was not a fair test so you really don't know if they were going to work or not. Creating the daily habit creates a point you can work towards in making a decision on if that habit needs changed. Habit creating needs to be written down and done every single day/week/month. If you don't follow your routines or habits you might as well play the slot machines.
