Being An Investor And Having A License

Some investors have a real estate license and some don't. I have personally always had mine, not because I sell houses, but because access to the MLS is so important. Right now, with where technology is, the free data that a person can gather on a home is not accurate enough to place a financial decision on. Having access to the MLS is potentially the most valuable tool to an investor. The systems now are so well designed that it's almost crazy not to be an agent to have access to the MLS. Getting a real estate license is not very hard and doesn't take much time. It is well worth the investment for someone thinking about becoming an investor.
