30 Days To Change Everything

Habits and routines are what make us who we are on many different levels. They are our dependable reactions that we rely on as part of our identity. During our lifetime we develop habits for many different reasons. Sometimes they begin at a very young age and other times they happen later in life. Across the board, successful people have several similar routines and habits that they either learned very young or made a forced change to adopt them. We can't go back in time in order to impose these new ideas on ourselves so the only option is to implement them now. Habits are a reordering of our brain's pathways. (At least that is what I have heard). I recently read that a new habit takes 30 days to ingrain. When I think back about habits that I consciously created or changed, that timeline is about right. The first portion of the change is the most difficult especially if it is a change in something you have been doing your entire life. If you are disciplined about the new routine, you will find that 30 days is ample time for almost anything to become your new habit. This approach to changing yourself allows for a lot of self discipline, positive financial decisions and positive life alterations.
