Flipping Houses Isn't Sexy.....It Is Lucrative

That's right, flipping a house isn't about how fun it is, how television makes it seem glamorous or doing it so you can seem important as a 'real estate investor'. Flipping a house is about one thing and one thing only, THE MONEY. I often see people that want to get into a deal that really isn't a deal. I assume it is because of one of the three reasons listed above and not the money. True long time flippers do not do this for any other reason but to make money. If they were doing for some other reason, they would then call it their expensive hobby. Being focused on the money makes their product and processes much tighter and efficient on each flip they do. They are constantly looking for ways to reduce costs improve the speed and quality of their product. They are doing this because they know it increases their bottom line. Experienced flippers create a production line with a factory model for properties. They turn out very similar products over and over. If you want to be an investor for a long time then focus on investing in your money. If you want to flip houses for any other reason, then you will have to call yourself something other than an investor.
