Books That Changed My Life - Hard Money Bankers

People are always looking for great books. Sometimes they want the books for entertainment and sometimes for learning purposes. I have found that there have been several books that have a great influence on my business career and felt they were worth sharing with people. Some of the came as a recommendation from my partners at Hard Money Bankers as we like to identify books that will have us all aligned in the nature of concepts and ideas. One book that was read a long time ago was 'Winning' by Jack Welch. This book discusses things like integrity in the business world, winning and only winning as well as team work. The take away's for me were to get my head around performing at all times to win. It can sound a bit brash, but the book does a better job of making it appealing to have that mindset. Another book to look into is 'How To Win Friends And Influence People' by Dale Carnegie. This is a fantastic book to shift your mind in how you interact with people on the day to day. There are many different ways to address problems or situations and this book does a great job of helping you see the ways to influence situations that you probably didn't think of. I highly recommend this one if you are in an environment of constant problem solving. There are other books that I have read but these two would be a good place to lay a foundation for people looking to improve their performance with teams or interacting with people.
