Philadelphia Wholesalers - Warning

Local Philadelphia wholesalers are causing serious waves in the market. Every investor in every market needs to jump on that wave and add good wholesalers to their lead source list. Wholesalers bring a lot of value to the investment world. They tend to have a reputation of not knowing their numbers and pushing bad deals, but the reality is there are 100x more over priced deals on the MLS. I recently read a forum post on a famous real estate investing site. The post asked if people really believe wholesalers are the 'scum of the Earth'. I was pretty annoyed by the title for two reasons. The first reason being that I got into this business by wholesaling and learning how to underwrite by doing so. Wholesaling changed my life. The second was that wholesalers are really good for investors and to call them 'scum of the Earth' would indicate to me that the person that made that comment has never invested before. They are not in the game and they are making a judgement with out any experience in the field. Find out who your wholesalers are in your market and keep them on file.
