Colorado Springs Real Estate is Soaring

Best increase since 2013

The good news keeps on coming! Homes in Colorado Springs are flying off the shelves at a record pace. Despite the freezing temperatures January has delivered a surprising thaw in the local market. With low interest rates and a lower inventory of available homes buyers are scrambling to find the home that fits their needs and price point. Available inventory of homes for sale is at its lowest point in 20 years.

Home prices in the area are almost unchanged reports the Colorado Springs Gazette. Buyers are being influenced by the fact that the Fed appears to continue to be raising rates later this year. This might be spurring them on to take the plunge now.

The spring and summer are hot for Real Estate Sales. This coupled with low inventory and more buyers could increase demand. Usually these two factors add up to a rise in prices. All the more reason for buyers to enter the market.

As local Colorado Springs Real estate investor I can attest to the increase. In the last month, 2 of our houses have been bombarded with showings and interest. Both are under contract and will sell soon
