Laughing at Adversity

As a child I learned to turn and sometimes run away from the challlenges that life handed me.  I rememeber allowing myself to get so worked up over the slightest thought of something not going my way or feeling pushed into a situation that I had no control over.  Sometimes I would be so affected by the situation that I would withdraw and move away from the front line that life had handed me accepting my place in the shadows.

Let's face it; life has a way of beating the best of us at times.  But through life's challenges, I've discovered that no matter how hard life deals it out, I've always come through!  But I didin't just come throug, I came out stronger.

Today, I will look at my challenges and confront them with courage.  I will not step into the shadows; I will not be overrun by the greedy and selfish.  Today I will stand my ground and accept my challenges.  I will finish today stronger then I started.  I will laugh at the adversity in my life and accept it for what it is.  An opportunity to be the best I can be!

  1. But do not forget that sometimes it is prudent to heal the wounds before going into battle again only to have the wound itself and not the battle stop you. It is often as easy as plugging up the wound with dirt so that the blood does not show.
