A couple days into BP

Hello and thank you for taking time to read my thoughts. I am new to BP and I am thoroughly enjoying it. There is a plethora of info around here and some really nice people from what I have seen so far. I am "getting my education" at this point. When I envisioned getting into real estate, I always envisioned this "secret society" where you had to pass trials and tests before anyone would speak to you. I am astonished that just by showing a tiny interest into RE that I have been invited to a REI meeting. Many of my preconceptions have been (thankfully) wrong. I always felt this information was guarded under lock and key with armed guards. 

As I have stated, I am doing a good bit of reading and going through the free course. All the content I have seen so far is really helpful. It can be a little overwhelming clicking on every link in a post/blog and trying to read it. Luckily, I have narrowed down somewhat of a plan of where to begin: Wholesaling. I have a full time job at the moment and a family. I am working on my time management because I will NOT neglect my family nor my work related duties. One of the reasons people get into this is for financial freedom and to spend more time with their families right? I have not discussed any of my plans or future ventures with anyone but my wife and you guys. I consider you all to be my "secret society." I know when the going gets tough, I will be leaning on you all to keep me motivated in those tough times, give me some compassion and tough love equally. I will do the same, we all need a push from time to time right?

I have been reinvigorated. I am out of the country and going to give the RE thing another go. Here we go!

Well, thank you for reading my first blog. I will use it mainly as my RE journal. I can see many uses for it even if only to remind me of the journey I have experienced. Thank you BP for the current and future education you have/will give me! Happy Investing!
