P1* - Time to get organized!

"Personal organization includes - a to do list, a calendar, an address book, and a file system." Bobb Biehl

I love this quote because it helps me stay organized.  It also reminds me of the old adage, "A place for everything, and everything in its place."

There is no doubt that organized people can achieve more than their organizationally-challenged brethren.

In my life, I have all of these tools to keep myself personally organized.

1. Calendar

I have a calendar to keep track of events and meetings. Thankfully, the calendar is on my phone and with me 99% of the time, which makes it easy to check my availability and scheduled appointments.

2. To-Do List

The great news for me is that I keep my To-Do List on my calendar, which kills two birds with one stone!

3. Address Book

Thanks to my phone and email account, I am able to keep all of my contacts electronically. Plus, I can easily keep the two databases synchronized so I'm almost always able to find the contact info of whomever I need.

4. Filing System

Lastly, I have an electronic filing system where I keep most materials. Again, with a simple app on my phone I'm able to access all of the files I have stored electronically.

How do you stay personally organized?

  1. Oh my goodness, I am the worst at organization, that's why I hate tax time, I can never find ANYTHING. I know I have to do something about it, its insane. I  need to do better.

I still prefer a pen and paper, call me old school.
